Twelve PC alumni returned to play a four-inning game of softball before the Lady Midgets opened their season with the annual scrimmage on August 18. The players were divided into three groups of four, with one team taking a turn at bat while the other two played the field.
Players included (front) Shannon (Lewis) Bain, Lindsey (Lewis) Seaton, Machelle (Noel) Rinehart, Tracy (Shipley) Starrett; (back) Gina (Michael) Englert, Liz (Hathaway) Steele, Jessica Steele, Ashley (Pettis) McGrann, Alisha Vestal, Tracy (Mothersbaugh) Hurley, and Lacy Johnson. Bernie "The Machine" Loughead was pitcher for both teams and Mike Schmidli was catcher. Jeff Butler and Don Fowler provided colorful color commentary.
