There is a new inhabitant, a Chilean Rose Tarantula, in Mr. Garber's room #15 in the high school. If you have a suggestion for a name, give it to Mr. Garber. The scientific name is Grammostola rosea.
The spider came from a Lawrence, KS, pet store. The gender has yet to be absolutely determined, but it is suspected to be male. The age is also unknown although it seems to be young if size is any indication when comparing it to its predecessor, Charlie (R.I.P.).
