BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
New Changes are on the Horizon!

As many of you probably have heard, the before and after school program will be making some changes in the near future. The program will be offering tutorial help--which will correlate with classroom teacher daily assignments, enrichment activities and numerous additional opportunities for students K-8. Several community partners are willing and committed to share their expertise and support with the new program. Many PC teachers have agreed to conduct classes and presentations. Team Leaders have been hired and an Advisory Council will be meeting soon to begin the task of planning for the new project.
The new project will be referred to as S.O.A.R., which stands for Seizing Opportunities through Academic Readiness. It will be domiciled in the soon to be completed Putnam County R-I Educational Center. The district is very excited about the opportunities and possibilities that this program will offer our students.
