September 25, 2007

The elementary students received a real treat when staff members acted out the story of "Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon." For those not familiar with the story, Molly is a very unique girl, who with a positive attitude and encouragement from her grandmother, overcomes a lot of life's obstacles.

The Character Education Committee acts out the story of Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon with Mrs. Stevens playing the role of Molly.

Mrs. Gibson did a wonderful job as she played the role of grandmother. Mrs. Stevens portrayed the role of Molly Lou Melon, and Mr. Griffen was the class bully named Ronald Durkin.
