Welcome back! It has been the best week ever here at the elementary school. We have been doing hard work again this week. We learned about poetry in reading. Sometimes poetry rhymes and sometimes it doesn't. Poems come in different languages. Poems come in different sizes. Poems come in different shapes. They can even be funny!
This was Red Ribbon Week and we wore red all week. You should always say no to drugs. Even though some people say drugs are cool, they are not, so say no and we mean it. We even got to go to a magic show called Magic Apples. It was FUN!!! The magician drew a magic picture and it came to life and talked. Jessica won the game show. She is smart. She beat three teachers. Jessica got every question right. She was awesome! The magician had great stuff and great music. The magician even had a magic hat that Caiden got to wear.
Do you know what oblique means? We do. If you want to know just ask a second grader in Miss Roberts' class.
