Junior High Teams Win Sportsmanship Trophies

The week of November 13, the Putnam County R-1 Middle School hosted its annual round robin basketball tournament, which included four teams. Our girls’ team placed first in the tournament and the boys’ team placed fourth.
We are very proud to announce that both of the teams received the sportsmanship trophy this year. This is a traveling trophy that is given to the teams that show the most sportsmanship during the week. It is voted on by the coaches and referees.
