Lady Midgets Move To 6 and 0 On Season

The Lady Midgets basketball team wrapped up 2007 by winning their final three games before the new year. They defeated Princeton on December 18 at home by the score of 64 to 19. They then traveled to Macon and defeated Macon by the score of 43 to 35. They ended 2007 by traveling to Quincy, Illinois, to play in the John Woods Shootout. It was called "Rumble On The River" with Missouri schools playing Illinois schools. The Lady Midgets were matched with Liberty, Illinois, and were able to come away with a 49 to 43 victory. It was in this game that senior Brittany Casady reached a milestone by scoring her 1000th career point. She now has 1007 total points scored in 85 varsity games.
