2007 Putnam County Junior High Boys Basketball Season Scores & Highlights
The Putnam County Junior High Boys concluded the 2007 campaign with a record of 6 wins and 8 losses. With 35 members on the basketball team, it was a year that took some time and patience; but the boys really worked hard all season long. They battled in every game and improved their basketball skills and teamwork as the season went along. It seemed as if we were outsized in most games, but we made up for that deficit with quickness and hustle.
Leading scorers on the year were Justin, Cash, Deion, Joel, Dillon, and Derek. Brett did a great job of running the point guard. All players were encouraged to crash the boards and different players stepped up each night. The boys are planning on working hard on basketball in the off season, which should pay off in the future.
