Students rehearsing their musical.

A Class Act

Presents.....

by Walter Griffen

March 06, 2008

Pink jail! Baby blue barber shop! Lavender livery stable! What's the town of Dead Dog Gulch--I mean--Pansy Valley, coming to? The Ladies of the Beautification Society have the answers. The miners want to revolt. The cowboys want to take over. The kids are scared, and the Sweet Young Things have their own ideas. Sheriff Austin has a lot on his hands.

What's to become of the sleepy little town of Dead Dog Gulch--I mean Pansy Valley? For this answer and many more, you'ns'll jest have to wait 'til the production of "The Saga of Dead Dog Gulch," May 6, when the Class Act Players gather once more for this premier debut of a delightful musical set in the Old West of Colorado.

The elementary musical is in its eleventh year and under the direction of Walter Griffen, Glenda Dinwiddie, and stage production supervisor, Jim Dover. They are joined with a cast of 32 students from grades 3, 4, and 5. Yep, things are gonna be a WHOLE lot different 'round these parts.

Photographs are of students rehearsing and Mr. Dover working diligently on stage sets.
