March 7 - Welcome to our news article! This is 2MR, reporting the news. Today is Friday, March 7. We got to go outside for recess this week. We love going outside for recess because we get exercise and fresh air while we have fun. Our playground equipment is really nice. Thanks, PTO, for buying it for the whole school.
Dr. Seuss' birthday was last Sunday. We have been reading his books. Horton Hears A Who was funny. The movie about this book will be out on March 14th. Horton Hatches the Egg is an awesome book and movie. Horton said, "A person is a person, no matter how small." We agree with Horton and Dr. Seuss - everyone is important and we should care about other people.
There are lots of birthdays in our room in March. Catherine and Miss Roberts were both born on March 12th but Miss Roberts was born 43 years before Catherine. Miss Roberts is a lot older than Catherine! Have a fantastic weekend. We'll see you next week on 2MR's news report.
