3W's End of the Year News

Third Grade has been working sooooooo hard preparing and reviewing for the MAP test. We are half way through it and boy are we glad! We plan to celebrate on Friday by eating, watching a movie, having a part-day read-a-thon, and playing games. Next week, we can't wait to get back to a regular schedule. We have one more theme to cover in our reading series. Our last two major units to cover for Science and Social Studies are the Universe and Government. If we have time, I would like to do a fun State Writing Research Project. And yes, we will be doing some Math.
Our field trip will be Tuesday, May 13. Third Grade will be traveling to Kansas City. There we will be visiting Steamboat Arabia and Kaleidoscope. More information about the trip will be coming home in Friday Folders.
Track and Field Day is scheduled for May 2.
