JH Boys Track Results

On April 14, 2008, the JH boys track team traveled to Brookfield, Mo. to participate in the Brookfield Middle School Relays.
The weather finally cooperated for a perfect day of track and field events. The team had been unable to do much practicing outside due to the poor weather conditions, but this did not seem to bother the midgets performance.
Brookfield is always a tough meet because of the number of teams that participate and the many different classes of schools.
This year there were 24 teams participating with the schools ranging from class 1A to class 3A. Putnam County took second place by only 8 points, and many new personal records were established.
Team and individual results are listed below. Putnam County R-1 Junior High will travel to Trenton on April 24 for their next meet.
