Sixth Graders Take Gates-MacGinitie Reading Test

by Jana Young

April 28, 2008

Sixth graders recently took the Gates-MacGinitie Reading Test.  This test is given in the fall to indicate the general level of reading achievement of individual students.  A different form of the same test is given in the spring to measure gains made by the student over the course of the year.

The tests have been scored, and I would like to share scores with parents.  In order to save paper and postage, I would like to email results to as many parents as I could.  If you would like to receive your child's scores this way, please send me an email this week.

My email address is jyoung@putnamcountyr1.net.  I will try to respond the same day I receive the email.  If you have any questions after you receive the scores, please feel free to contact me through my email address, or you could reach me by phone during my conference period which is from 2:04-3:17 each day.  My extension number is 348.  Thanks!
