S.O.A.R. TEAM LEADER HONORED FOR HER FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness, the Character Education word for the month of April, led two elementary students to nominate one of their before and after-school teachers for this honor. Mrs. LeAnn Dent, S.O.A.R. Team Leader, was presented with the award at the elementary Character Education Assembly on Monday, April 28, by her students, Calvin Y. and Ariel P.
Mrs. Dent has been a part of the Putnam Co. R-I Before and After-school Program since September, 2007. She is originally from the Kansas City area but moved to Kirksville, Missouri, to attend Truman State University. After graduation she and her husband, Reed, have continued to make Kirksville their home. Putnam County is proud to have the Dents involved with our district!
