Junior High Competes at Scotland Co.

It wasn't the best weather for a track meet but at least it wasn't raining. Temperatures were around 500 with a cold, stiff breeze blowing in from the northeast. Everyone was keeping bundled up until time to compete.
The conditions were harsh but the Putnam Co. Junior High boys stepped up to the challenge, pulling out a victory over 7 other area teams, scoring a whopping 145.5 points. Even with the bad weather conditions, there were several personal best times, jumps and throws.
We next travel to Kirksville on 04-30-08 with events beginning at 2:00. Our last track meet will be on Thursday, May 1, at home for the Putnam Co. Relays.
