New Track Record Set

On Wednesday, the JH track team travelled to Kirksville to compete against 11 other schools. The competition was very good with teams from classes 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A.
The track was a very fast one, considering the wind was blowing relatively hard. The boys stepped up again and represented MIDGET COUNTRY very well and finished in 3rd place.
There was a new record set in the 200m. dash along with many new 2008 personal best times, jumps, and throws. Josh D. set a new 200m. dash record with a time of 24.7 seconds, beating the old time of 25.4 held by Lance M. Congratulations to Josh D. The results to the meet are below.
