First Day of School

August 20, 2008 - It has been a great first day of second grade! We have learned a lot and played some. Mrs. Spase gave us an extra recess after breakfast and lunch. First thing this morning we went to an assembly. We said three different pledges - The Pledge of Allegiance, the Character Pledge and the Hand Pledge. We will learn the No-Bully Pledge later. Our special classes today were Art and Library. Mr. Brody and Mr. Levi are big kids helpers this semester. We have made lots of new friends. We had a great first day and it was fun. Only 173 days left!
