The Best Day at School

August 26, 2008 - School is fun. You get to read a lot in Second Grade. We have DEAR time twice a day. DEAR stands for Drop Everything And Read. Some of us are reading chapter books! Right now Miss Roberts is reading Beezus and Ramona aloud to us. Ramona doesn't know how to write her name right; she only scribbles. She wrote all over a library book with purple crayon! Ramona reminds us of Junie B. Jones because she is kind of rotten, like Junie B. We are learning how to print better. We had our first math morning meeting. Every morning, we start with five deep belly breaths. Today has been our best day so far.
