Mizzou Athletic Director Speaks at HS Assembly

Mike Alden, University of Missouri Athletic Director, spoke to high school students at an assembly on October 1, 2008. Following a multimedia presentation that highlighted Missouri’s football program, Alden remarked that the focus of athletes at MU was on academic integrity, social responsibility, and competitive excellence. He encouraged PCHS students to set the same priorities. Alden was accompanied by Mike “Voice of the Tigers” Kelly, the radio play-by-play announcer, and Josh Murray, Assistant Director of Media Relations. The MU representatives stopped at PC on a tour of area schools. The stop was arranged by Superintendent Heath Halley and Midget fan Todd Hatfield.
