Freshmen: Deadline to return your lollipop money and/or any leftovers is today: J Busker, T. Couchman, Klayton M, Hali R, C. Schmidli, Brandon S, D Tribble, Eric W, Harley. See Ms. Fowler for details, if necessary.
Three college classeswill be offered by Indian Hills Community College in the evenings starting November 17. Registration will be Nov 17 in the high school library at 5:15. See Mrs. Mary Comstock if you have questions.
Students,please remember several things as we enter basketball season. First, if you attend a game, you may not re-enter after leaving. Please support our extracurricular groups by using the concession stand and not the vending machines. Popcorn and water are the only permissible food/drink items in the gym. This will help us protect our gym floor. When entering/exiting the gym, please stay off the playing floor. Use the entrance/exit door on the same side on which you are seated, especially during the game. Continue to practice good sportsmanship both as players and fans, just like you have in the past. Finally, look forward to an enjoyable season and support our teams! Thanks!
JV Football Cheerleaders need to turn in all Cheerleading uniform pieces (windsuits, poms, under armor, skirt and top) to Ms. Lorensen ASAP. Thanks!!
FBLA and DECAwill be doing the Helpful Harvest Community Service Project next Friday November 14, directly after school. It will last appox. 1-1.5 hours. Dinner will be provided to all participants afterwards. Please see Ms. Lorensen or Mr. Lynch for more details and to sign up!! Hope to see you there...
On Wednesday, November 26, we will be having our annual turkey bowling contest in the high school cafeteria at your scheduled lunch time. This contest will consist of a frozen turkey being slid down a tarp at bowling pins. This year we will randomly select 2 or 3 students from each class to bowl. If you get a strike, your entire class is winners! We will be giving prizes away such as free ice cream cones, a tray full of cookies, gift cards from CJ’s, and the opportunity for your class to pick “what’s for lunch” one day. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving!!
FBLA Members -- remember if you want to buy a FBLA t-shirt, the order forms are in Ms. Lorensen's room on the round table...Cost is $15 and money and orders are due to Ms. Lorensen by Friday, November 14.
*Varsity Cheerleaders: Please return your full uniform, wind suit, rain coat and bag if you still have them to Room 1A ASAP. Please do not just drop it off, as they need to be checked in by Ms. Foglesong
*Dance Squad Members: Please stop by Ms. Foglesong’s room to sign the Master Activity List as well as pick up the Drug and Alcohol testing handbook. This packet must be read, signed and returned by Friday, November 14, if you wish to participate. Please do not stop by DURING class. Come before/after school, between class, or during activity period with teacher pass Thanks!
The permission slip for juniors and seniorsto attend the Graceland field trip is due to Ms. Spence by Friday, November 14! The trip is Wednesday, November 19. Students need to be in the commons by 8:00 A.M. Lunch will be provided by Graceland. Students will return around 3:00 P.M.
