Big Week for Midgets

The Midgets A team gave
the fans an exciting game on Thursday, Nov. 13, at
Schuyler Co. The game was tied at 14 apiece at half time. The
Midgets dominated the third quarter jumping out to a 35-21 lead.
The drama wasn’t over yet; Schuyler made its own run and took a
lead by a point with under two minutes to play. The Midgets played
well under pressure and sunk some huge free throws at the end to
seal the victory 43-29. The Midgets A team record now stands at
3-0.
The team did a much better job of running an offense than in the previous two games. Despite losing a large lead, they didn’t lose their cool and held on for a big win. Once again the team did a good job of sharing the scoring load with eight different Midgets, putting points on the board. The post players did a nice job of running the high-low combo against Schuyler’s zone.
This week both the A & B squads have full schedules with tournaments at home (A team) and at Schuyler (B team).
