7th Grade Math Students "Excel"

The 7th graders recently had an opportunity to explore the Excel spreadsheet program on the computers. They first constructed their own survey questions to be used to conduct their own survey.

Two examples of those questions were, "How many hours of sleep do you get a night?" and "What is your favorite chocolate treat?"

After conducting their surveys, students made a bar graph of the data compiled. After discussion, they then were able to use that information to make colorful and interesting bar graphs on the Excel program.

The surveys are now being displayed in Mrs. Valentine's room. These students are a proud representation of the 7th grade class.
