PC Staff Gives Donation

Putnam County R-I staff donated $1,750 to the PC Café this fall. Staff members contributed money for the privilege of wearing blue jeans on Fridays during the 2009-10 school year.
The PC Café and Resource Center will use the money to support the Meals on Wheels program. Approximately seventy meals are delivered to homes of senior citizens in Putnam County five days a week. The suggested donation per meal is $3 but the donations are running at about $.89 a meal. The PC R-I staff contribution will help shore up this shortfall.
