Classroom Rules
- Be on time.
2. Do your work on time.
3. Do your own work.
4. Act like ladies and gentlemen. Classroom disruptions will not be tolerated.
5. Follow rules in student handbook.
Materials Needed:
Spiral or wireless notebook for note-taking and journal writing
Separate paper or notebook for homework (to tear out/turn in)
Pocket folder
Calculator (scientific is preferred)
#2 pencils or mechanical pencils
Pen
Classroom Procedures
- No cheating—an automatic zero will result for both parties in question.
- You will be graded on tests, homework, quizzes, class, small group, and individual participation, projects, reports, and performance assessments. Grading scale:
90-100 A
80-89 B
70-79 C
60-69 D
Below 60 F
- Your work should be ready to turn in at the beginning of the next class period unless otherwise stated.
4. If you need help, ASK!
- YOU are responsible for finding out what you missed and doing make-up work after an absence. If you are going to be gone on a school-related trip, get your assignments before you go and then see Procedure #3.
- Show all work.
- Neatness counts.
8. Use pencil for homework and tests.
