Classroom Rules

 

 

  1. Be on time.

 

    2.  Do your work on time.

 

    3.  Do your own work.

 

    4.  Act like ladies and gentlemen.  Classroom disruptions will not be tolerated.

 

    5.  Follow rules in student handbook.

 

 

 

Materials Needed:

 

Spiral or wireless notebook for note-taking and journal writing

Separate paper or notebook for homework (to tear out/turn in)

Pocket folder

Calculator (scientific is preferred)

#2 pencils or mechanical pencils

Pen

 

Classroom Procedures

 

  1. No cheating—an automatic zero will result for both parties in question.

 

  1. You will be graded on tests, homework, quizzes, class, small group, and individual participation, projects, reports, and performance assessments.  Grading scale:

 

90-100                        A

80-89                              B

70-79                              C

60-69                              D

Below 60                            F

 

 

  1. Your work should be ready to turn in at the beginning of the next class period unless otherwise stated.

 

4.    If you need help, ASK!

 

 

  1. YOU are responsible for finding out what you missed and doing make-up work after an absence. If you are going to be gone on a school-related trip, get your assignments before you go and then see Procedure #3.

 

  1. Show all work.

 

  1. Neatness counts.

 

8.  Use pencil for homework and tests.
