Classroom Procedures:
You will arrive at class ON TIME and will be seated with
necessary materials by the second bell. If you are not in your seat
and working by the second bell, YOU WILL BE COUNTED
TARDY.
Every Friday we will be working on your Transition
Plan. We will utilize both web-based resources and written
materials. Please don’t expect to use this day as a homework day.
This is the only day for which I will be taking a grade. Your grade
will be based upon completed tasks and classroom
participation/attitude. *This is grading system is subject to
change as necessary.
Monday through Thursday, students are expected to work on homework during class. Sleeping, drawing, non-productive sitting, etc. are unacceptable. It will be in your best interest to bring the appropriate materials to class. If you do not, I will provide you with something suitable.
Rude, cruel, vulgar remarks, or disruptive behavior are unacceptable! I will assign after-school detentions for these offenses. If any of these offenses occur on a regular basis, the student will be sent to the principal, and the parent/guardian will be contacted.
All students are expected to be respectful to all adults, including substitute teachers. If for any reason your name is written down because of a rule infraction, you will receive a 45-minute detention with me.
If you have any questions or need help with homework, my plan
time is 3rd period
(9:51 – 10:36), or come and see me before or after school. I know
that all of you will have another great year.
