National Honor Society Induction

Induction for the Putnam County chapter of the National Honor Society was held Thursday evening, October 15. Twenty-six juniors were inducted into the chapter. Each member must have a minimum 3.5 grade point average and exhibit leadership, service, and character traits.
Mr. Andrew Garber, high school science teacher, gave the address. His motivational speech challenged the students to help those around them and included quotes from Albert Einstein and Spock.
Mr. Jeremy Watt, high school principal, introduced each member as part of the candlelight ceremony. Upcoming NHS activities include the Veterans Day assembly on November 11 and a blood drive in January.
