STUDENTS QUALIFY TO PARTICPATE IN MARSEF

Jackie P and Jake B have qualified to participate in the Mid-America Regional Science and Engineering Fair (MARSEF).   Their research project entails a study of long term and short term memory in older adults battling dementia.
Regional Science Fair Competition will be Friday, March 12th, at Blum Union 218-219 on Missouri Western State University Campus located in Saint Joseph.   

Fair hours are from 8:00 AM throughout the day with public viewing from 3:30-4:30 PM with awards to follow.  Midget fans are welcome to attend and show their support.
Winners at the Mid-America fair will win an expense paid trip to the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) May 9-14, 2010, in San Jose, CA.   

Students from around the world will compete for prizes and college scholarships.   Intel is the major sponsor for ISEF.

Any high school student interested in participating in this event next year may contact either Mr. Garber or Mr. F. Watt.   Students may enter as an individual or as a two person team.
