3W Authors Read at Meet-the-Author Night

Three students in Mrs.Whitworth's Third Grade class were selected to read their books they wrote at Meet the Author Night. After reading Third and Fourth Grade books, several teachers and librarians chose these three authors to read their books. They were judged on story content, overall neatness, complete sentences, and correct grammar.
All of the authors' books that were brought back were displayed for the evening. Meet the Author Night was in conjunction with the Book Fair Family Night. PTO also drew some names from the authors who brought back their books. Those drawn received a $5.00 book of their choice from the Book Fair.
