Alumni Basketball Tournament

What: Tri-Rivers Alumni Conference Basketball Tournament at Putnam County
When: November 6, 2010 from 8am-8pm, concessions available.
Pool games will be played from 8 to 5 and the best record in each pool will advance to the championship game starting at 5.
Why: Who wants final bragging rights!
Gold basketball trophy to the winner. Cost: $200 per team which includes t-shirt for all players, preferably 10 players per team so around $20 per player. Money due before first game played. Format: Round-robin with a championship (divisions drawn randomly), 3 game guarantee. 18 minute running clock halves with officials. Division’s class of 2000 and older, 2001 younger division, and women’s. Team Colors: Putnam County-White Brookfield-Blue Scotland Co.-Black Schuyler-Maroon Milan-Green North Shelby-Gold Clark Co-Red Knox Co.-Grey Important Details: The age groups for the men will be class of 2000 and older, and class of 2001 and younger; each school will be allowed one team at first in each division then if not filled by deadline we will open it up. The women will be just one division so we will accept a team from each school. Goes by the youngest player on your team for. Deadline for entry October 15, 2010 and then if tournament not filled schools may be allowed to enter more teams by October 23. *Teams will be required to sign a waiver releasing Putnam County Schools
