It's Play Time

by Mary Bartram

September 14, 2011

Your preschooler probably spends a large amount of time in play. Play helps them sort out their ideas and feelings. Play affects your child's social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and language development. When you play regularly with your child, you strengthen your bond with them. These are all very important factors in your child's development. Make sure you have appropriate toys for your child to play with and let them explore playing alone and with other children, as this will help prepare them for their school years. Play time is a great learning tool for your child. Join in and have some fun.
