S.O.A.R. STUDENTS ARE LEARNING ROBOTIC BASICS

Fourth through eighth grade S.O.A.R. students are exploring the world of robots and the part they play in the 21st century which includes learning more about careers that utilize various aspects of this fascinating science.

This project provides an avenue for students to work together in teams to build, program and extend the abilities of their working robot creations.


Fourth grade student, Kerea F., created a colorful sign for the S.O.A.R. classroom.  She joins her co-workers each week to explore new avenues that will provide not only a better understanding of the world of robotics,

but also provide opportunities for the students of Putnam County to grow their new-found skills in exciting directions for their futures.
