Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) and Stanford 10 Tests will be given to elementary students during the month of April. The students in kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade will take the Stanford 10 test on April 16-20th. The MAP test will be given to 3rd- 5th  grade students on April 11, 12, 13, 17, 18 & 19th in the mornings in the areas of math and communication arts. The 5th grade students will also test on April 3rd & 4th in the area of science.

Attendance during testing is very important. If parents are able to schedule routine appointments around the testing dates, that would be greatly appreciated. It is always beneficial if students are able to get a good night's rest before testing and have a nutritional breakfast. The school will be providing free breakfast to MAP students (grades 3-5) on the days that they are scheduled to test. Students are encouraged to dress comfortably, come to school on time and be relaxed and ready to test. The students and teachers have been working very hard to prepare all year long for the assessment, and we want their hard work to be reflected on the students' performance.

A "kick off" assembly will be held on Friday, March 30th. The testing theme this year is a Hawaiian Luau. Students are encouraged to dress in beach attire on this day.

Feel free to stop by the school and visit with your child's teacher or school counselor should you have any questions or concerns regarding the test.
