FBLA Members compete in District Competitions
Members of the Putnam County R-1 High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter recently attended the 2013 District 3 FBLA Leadership Conference.
FBLA is a career and technical student organization for all high school students participating in business programs. Students were able to compete in events ranging from online tests, performance/speaking, or projects. Over 40 members from PCR-1 choose to participate this year.
Christian B. was elected to serve as the District 3 Secretary for the 2013-2014 school year.Delegates representing the Putnam County R-1 Chapter in the district competitive leadership awards program were:
1st place: Savanah, Craig and Brett for Business Ethics; Christian for Impromptu Speaking; Brett for Sports Management; Camile and Cash for Website Design. (All 1st place winners will represent District 3 at the State Conference in Columbia, April 21-23)
2nd Place: Cory for Economics.
The aforementioned students will represent District 3 at the State Leadership conference in Columbia, April 21-23

Other 2nd place: Christian and Brandon for Digital Design and Promotion; Levi and Jacob H. for Network Design.
3rd place: Tanner and Jacob P. for Management Decision Making
