FBLA Members compete in District Competitions

            Members of the Putnam County R-1 High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter recently attended the 2013 District 3 FBLA Leadership Conference.

            FBLA is a career and technical student organization for all high school students participating in business programs. Students were able to compete in events ranging from online tests, performance/speaking, or projects. Over 40 members from PCR-1 choose to participate this year.

            Delegates representing the Putnam County R-1 Chapter in the district competitive leadership awards program were: 

1^st  place:  Savanah, Craig and Brett for Business Ethics; Christian for Impromptu Speaking; Brett for Sports Management; Camile and Cash for Website Design. (All 1^st place winners will represent District 3 at the State Conference in Columbia, April 21-23)

2^nd  Place: Cory for Economics.

The aforementioned students will represent District 3 at the State Leadership conference in Columbia, April 21-23
