Tara Blankenship will be teaching first grade for the first time after years of teaching high school at Adair County R - II and more recently, special education in Schuyler County. She earned her B.S. from Buena Vista University. Mrs. Blankenship and her husband, Aaron live outside of Unionville. Their children are her daughter Eriel who is a seventh grader and step-son, Harvester, who just started kindergarten; Mrs. Joyce Cullum is their great-grandmother.
