A Snake Slithers into Second Grade!
Avery asked Mrs. Klinginsmith to bring a snake to our room.
Our class had a visitor slither into our room! Mrs. Klinginsmith and Mr. Garber brought a snake to share with us! Avery had once visited Mrs.Klinginsmith's room to see the snake and wanted to share the experience with his class. The children enjoyed touching and holding the snake. Mrs. Klinginsmith shared that the snake had eaten the week before. She told the students that it eats about every three weeks. The children loved to hear the snake had eaten a LIVE mouse! We are hopeful to get to go to Mrs. Klinginsmith's room to watch the snake eat some time this year! Thank you to Mrs. Klinginsmith, Mr. Garber and Avery for the surprise! We all enjoyed it!
