DVDs for VETS a Success!

This November FBLA members started a new service project called DVDs for VETS.  The goal was the collect used or new DVDs from students and community members to be donated to area Veterans Hospitals and Veterans Homes to be enjoyed by residents and their families.  Collection boxes were set out throughout the high school, and a table was set up at the Veterans Assembly.  More information about this wonderful project can be found at http://dvds4vets.org/

This year FBLA members donated/collected 132 DVD movies and TV series.  This is a great accomplishment for our first year!  Mrs. Rhodes plans to ship them out next week (after she hits some Black Friday sales to hopefully get more DVDs!).

FBLA looks forward to participating in this service project again next year.
