PC2DC 2016

The biggest group ever is taking on our nation's capital.

Sixteen eighth graders and four chaperones headed out at 12:30 a.m. on May 18th to tour Washington, D.C. and the surrounding area.  Led by history teacher Dustin Freeman, Dr. Heath Halley and Mrs. Stephanie Salisbury and Mrs. Tara Blankenship, these students are experiencing history in a very hands on manner that will leave them with memories to last a lifetime.  This is the fifth trip of this type sponsored by our school and the largest.  Exceptional too are some of the opportunity these students have been given including a chance to meet a Holocaust survivor.  Listening to Irene (Fogel) Weiss speak to them about her firsthand experiences during the Holocaust was both rare and memorable.
