Nothing Goes to Waste
Old books donated to the Cincinnati Reading Room.
Moving into the new library media center in the high school has taken the efforts of many including the energetic help of our student crew. Of course, in the process of merging the middle and high school collections to one location, we needed to weed out unused materials. Anything that was still usable was offered to students and community members and the balance was donated to the Cincinnati Reading Room located in the former elementary school in Cincinnati, Iowa. If you see one of the hardworking students who helped us make that happen last week, be sure to give them a pat on the back. It was hard, hot work, but it did insure that none of the books we no longer use goes to waste.
