This summer PCR-I became an official Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite through a grant presented to us by the Putnam County Health Department.  This grant money made it possible for us to get new comfortable furniture and set up a nice space for our new mothers.   The grant purchased a nice new chair and ottoman, a beautiful wood privacy screen (added protection in case someone walks in!), a new sofa table that is stocked with tissues, paper towels, a power strip (to plug in your all the gadgets, and a digital clockto get everyone back to work in time!), 

 

This nice new space is located in the old nurses office in the locker room at the back of the Elementary Gym.  

 

There are three people currently utilizing the room. To help coordinate everyone, Kathy Rhodes has put up a 'sign up' sheet on the door so that you can write down what times you will be using the room.  We hope all nursing mothers here at school will make use of this dedicated space.
