Fall Festival

The 2016 Putnam County Advertising class has been busy planning their first event of the school year.  This year, the class of 23 Juniors and Seniors has decided to focus on the community for their first event and provide a family-friendly outing that will appeal to all ages.  The Putnam County Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016, on the Unionville City Square.  The event will begin at 4:00 pm.  Students have worked hard to ensure that there are activities that children of all ages will enjoy.  At the Fall Festival, you will find kids games (ring toss, pin the nose on the pumpkin, balloon pop, etc), a photo cut-out, sack races, a hay maze, hayrides, pumpkin decorating, children's corn cribs, face painting, and much more.  There will be a raffle of gift baskets donated by Appleseeds and Charlie's Place as well as a meal served inside PC Cafe.  The meal will consist of a hot dog or chili dog, a bag of chips, dessert and drink OR a bowl of soup, crackers, dessert and drink and will cost $5/plate.  

Following the activities at the square, the Advertising class is partnering with Unionville Rotary to bring you evening entertainment.  Rotary will be hosting "Live with Elvis and Bryce" in the Middle School Auditorium beginning at 7:00 pm.  The Advertising Class will be showing two movies, Hotel Transylvania in the Elementary Gym, and The Possession in the High School Gym beginning at 7:00 pm.  There is truly something for everyone!

*PC Advertising Class will be selling armbands for their events.  To enjoy activities on the square, you can purchase a blue armband for $5.  To enjoy activities on the square AND one of the movies, you can purchase an orange armband for $8.  (Cost of meal is NOT included in armband prices)  There is also an option to purchase carnival tickets or movie tickets individually if you would only like to participate in certain games/events.
