Jordan H. Signs with Northeastern Oklahoma A&M to Play Softball

On Tuesday, November 30, Senior Jordan H. signed the Letter of Intent to play softball for Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. Her parents, Verl and Kerri H., Coach Aaron Fitzpatrick, and Athletic Director Andrew Garber were present for the signing. 

Jordan is a multi-year All-Conference, All-District, All-Region shortstop/utility player who has enjoyed great success on the Putnam County R-1 softball team. As a team MVP and four-year letter winner, she played 102 games as a Lady Midget. Jordan's career included 117 hits, 88 runs, 4 homeruns, and 74 RBIs. Her career batting average was .399 with a .553 slugging percentage.

Coached by Eric Iverson, the Lady Norse softball program of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M has played in 16 Region II Championship games. NEO has captured the coveted Region II Championship eight times and continued on to the NJCAA Division-1 Softball National Tournament. The teams finished strong by placing 3rd in 2000, 4th in 2007, 5th in 2012 and 2016, and 7th in 2013. The 2015 Lady Norse finished as National Runner-Up with a 50-16 record.

Coach Iverson says, "We are excited to bring Jordan into our program; her character and talent are a perfect fit, and we expect her to do great things to represent our program on and off the field."
