Youth Art Month is an annual observance each March to emphasize the value of art education for all children and to encourage support for quality school art programs. The Missouri State Capitol hosts the annual Youth Art Month Exhibit February 23rd - March 16th in the 3rd floor Rotunda. Teachers of the Missouri Art Education Association may select only four outstanding artworks to be sent for exhibition. It is an an honor to be selected, as the artwork represents the quality of visual art education statewide.
