Carpet and ceiling tiles are making a real difference!

On Tuesday it was a bare, white wall.

Don't want the kids to ever be in the dark, so a lamp was added.

Well, the books are back in place, furniture is finished and we're ready for some excited readers!

(Posted earlier: Summer school is in session and Building Trades and Maintenance crews have been busy giving the Elementary Library a makeover. We're on schedule to have it done in time for Mrs. Caley to set it up for another school year. The space has been cleared and new paint, carpet, ceiling tiles, lighting and some fun library furniture built by our own people are all part of the plan to make this a place that will attract students. One of the features is a three step platform in the corner which will be carpeted. Work on the hand painted mural for those feature walls began on Tuesday and was finished today. The cost of this project is being covered by concession stand profits. Watch for updates to this article as additional portions of the job are completed.)

The cushions for the furniture arrived today! Upholstery services provided by John and Norene Jarvis.
