Hello, my name is Mr. Dinwiddie and I teach 6th and 8th grade Health, and middle school and high school Physical Education.  A little about me before I get into what is going on in the classroom; I graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa this past December.  My degree is in Kinesiology with a focus on Physical Education.  My student teaching was in the Overland Park, Kansas area at Blue Valley West high school.  I'm also super excited to be working in the same school district as my mother Mrs. Dinwiddie.     

In my 8th grade Health class we just finished up talking about mental and emotional health and will be starting a project over the different systems of the body starting soon.  The students will be presenting their projects in the following week as they begin working on them soon.  In the 6th grade Health class we have just finished talking about making good decisions and are moving on to the topic of self-esteem. We are in full swing in both of these classes and have already had several tests.  In the High School physical education area we have started a 3 on 3 basketball unit and will be starting a tournament later next week.
