4th Graders Recognized at Assembly

Elijah, Hoyt, and Diego were recognized for being advanced in both ELA and Math on last spring's MAP test.

The Character Education program at Putnam County R-1 Schools works to instill excellent behavior and values in our students.  We have assemblies on the last Friday of every month to recognize outstanding students.   This month, many students in our class were recognized, somewhat more than usual due to the fact that this assembly covered both August and September.  As you will see from the pictures, many were recognized for having either proficient or advanced scores in at least one area on the MAP test last spring.  Three boys in our class were actually advanced in both areas of ELA and Math.  Two girls in our classroom were recognized for excellent behavior, and seven were recipients of character cards from teachers throughout the school.  Great work, 4th graders!
