Students in 6th grade Art class are learning how to play the roles of author and illustrator. After reading and learning about children's storybooks, students began to create their own. Students incorporated what they have learned in English Language Arts to create a book with a theme, proper spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. Students also worked on using a thesaurus to add some pizzazz to their sentences. Once the storybooks are complete,  the 6th grade students will be get to read their stories to PK and Kindergarten classes!
