Fall Fun

We have been having some fun this Fall in our Art room.

Pre-school has done a couple of finger paintings with fall colors. Cutting leaf shapes out of and glueing on a photograph of each child gave motor skills practice and was fun as well. These are hanging outside of the elementary Art room. In another project we used our fingerprints to make leaves to cover each student's tree picture.

Kindergarten used fingerprints to make Indian corn. They also showed off their scissor skills in this project. We are currently working on Kadinsky inspired fall trees, which will probably end up on display at the upcoming Art Show December 14 th.

First grade had a ball making paper stuffed pumpkins, which are on display on the pumpkin vines in the hallway. We are currently working on leaf prints, rubbings, and fall paintings. I am hoping these will make an appearance at our Art Show.

Second grade is working on Native American stories and pictograph symbols.
