Fall Fun In First Grade
Fall fun was in full swing in the first grade, and Mrs. Fenton’s class was no exception. The class enjoyed Careers on Wheels at the beginning of the day and loved getting to know new careers and the people behind them. They were especially excited about being able to see the police, KTVO, and Paul Riley!
Mrs. Fenton’s class later enjoyed a movie party for good behavior that they have been saving up for since the beginning of the school year. The next reward on their list is a ice cream party! At the end of the festivities, the class enjoyed some good old fashioned fall fun by carving a jack-o-lantern. They learned about the growth of pumpkins and also guessed and counted every pumpkin seed. For their particular pumpkin there were 155 pumpkin seeds, just in case you wanted to know.
