Winter Weather Wardrobe
Winter weather is upon us.❄️ Please be sure your kids are dressed appropriately.🏂 With extremely low temperatures, we want to keep everyone safe and that starts before they ever arrive at school.🏫 If your child doesn't have access to warm layers, coats, gloves, hats, etc, be sure to reach out to our school social worker, so we can make sure your child is safe and warm, to and from school. 😀
We do our best to make sure that the heat is working properly and buses are running at optimal performance, but we wouldn't want your child freezing while wearing shorts and a light jacket if there was a mechanical difficulty. It is hard for kids to concentrate when they're cold, so encourage them to dress in layers during these cold temperatures.
A few reminders:
Be aware of the current and weather forecast. Dress your child(ren) in layers. Adjust clothing for activity level. Ask for help with warm layers if your child has a need.
