Middle School Character Education
January's word is gratefulness.
Businessman Dave Williams was honored as this month's community winner. Dave was born in Ohio, moved to Unionville in 1972 attending school here and graduating in 1977. Shortly after high school he began working first at a rock quarry and later for International Energy Coal Mining. He purchased a service truck in 1988 and has been changing tires for 39 years now. He owns and runs Dave's Tire shop here in town but is best known around school as Caley and Alex' grandpa. Dave also has 14 other grandchildren and five kids of his own. His family and business keep him very busy. He was not able to attend Wednesday's character education assembly, but we were able to catch up with him later to give him his award..
